I have a similar question.
I also in a middle of a short sale, were almost closing, but the final counter-offer from the sellers bank came 1 week ago. However, the initil offer was done April 20th, and Escrow was opened by April 28th. My earnest deposit money was deposited by the 28th as well.
Will i still qualify? I am hoping yes since i was in escrow before April 30, but i dont know if the date of the counter offer will screw me up.
Not an expert but I believe you should qualify since you were in Escrow before the 30th of April.
