ParticipantCant disagree more and I have a body of knowledge to draw from. What do you have?
I sold a house west of the 5 in Encinitas near the end of the year. It was easily the best deal anyone has gotten in the last 7 years or so along the coast. It would not have happened any other time of the year. When it closed in January I got 3 calls from agents with buyers offering 6 figures above what my client paid to sell it immediately and one of the offers was $200K+ more. Sorry but my experience tells me exactly the opposite.
