I’ve been using T-mobile for years. Great service. I’m on a grandfathered $50/mo 2GB/tethering plan (throttles after 2GB). Nice thing is that data is free but slow abroad, and I could even use VoIP to make calls from Dom Rep to the states.
Pre-paid doesn’t have int’l data free, but is cheaper ($35-45/mo vs $70/mo for their current post-paid plan). Then there’s MetroPCS, which can be had for $25-30/mo, no int’l data, taxes included. $30/mo on Metro includes 2GB/mo.
I’ve been using tmobile for a few years as a primary.
3 lines unlimited for $75 total including tax.
It’s alright in SD.
I love my tmobile plan due to the free intl data and texting. Wonderful when I travel. I think the plan I am on is no longer available, though. And Tmobile does not play nicely with my Nexus phone. I may try an upgrade to the new Pixel when it comes out in a month or so, hopefully will be better. Or maybe will give in and go back to a Samsung with all of the bloatware apps and delayed OS updates. Blech.
$70/mo unlim ONE plan still does the free int’l data and texting. It’s just the $50/mo (really $60/mo including taxes) that’s not available any more.
Best phone I’ve had is the Moto G4 play. Can be had for $100 unlocked (ad free). Easily rootable, SD card, removable battery, etc.
