I’d like to see a lot more of beautiful corporate campuses here to bring in very high wage jobs. Much better than a pro sports stadium. After avoiding a billion dollar giveaway to the chargers, are we now going to get hosed on a soccer stadium that will cost almost as much but attract 1/10 the fans and prestige?
The Sports Arena Blvd complex (that includes not just the clippers stadium and lot, but city owned land under pier 1, Phils BBQ, dixieline and several decaying strip malls) and the Qualcomm site could be perfect for a huge corporate HQ.

I guess live TV sports will keep the elite human ones in business, but it does seem to be a task that AI will be better than any human being eventually.

But they still have showers, toilets and drinking water in St George which are key selling points.

damn those liberals..bringing liberal ideas such as water conservation and concerns of a drought to St. George. Next thing is they’ll try to start teaching about climate change.
