support for keeping the conforming loan limits

I wanted to know if it is possible for piggingtonians to lobby Congress to keep the conforming loan limit at 417k adjusted to govt inflation numbers.

My political hunch is that Democrats and some Republicans from high cost blue states (California, New York, Connecticut) will be supporting it. It should be easy to rally anti-govt Republicans from the South to stop increases in the limits. It should be easier to kill the measure in the Senate.

I can see that alone from keeping home prices from going up.

Any ideas on how to organize will be appreciated. I am willing to spend my time.
