In one Left4Dead scenario, survivors get picked up by a helicopter. The pilot happens to be infected but he doesn’t know it and mid-flight, turns. The passengers have to kill the pilot and end up crashing. So YES,INFECTED CAN BE AIRBORNE, and YES,A GAME CAN PREPARE YOU FOR THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.
Scaredy: Ah-HA! Outtamojo proves UCGal’s scenario is possible, and maybe even probable!
They’d have to modify the Airborne motto: Death From Above to, like, (Un)Dead From Above, but you get the general idea.
And, au contraire, my legally minded friend: I am taking this very seriously, as evidenced by all of the planning, up to and including paratrooper zombies.

February 8, 2010 at 9:24 AM #510541scaredyclassicParticipantjust because something happened ina video game doesn’t make it true. i think we’d all be better off it we spent an hour a day swinging a crowbar in the yard to get in shape than living in some fantasy world with “video games” trying to learn about “paratrooper zombies” which could never really exist.

Scaredy: Again with the crowbar? An hour on the range honing your accuracy and reaction time would be far more beneficial than hopping around the back forty whipping a tire iron back and forth.
There’s a great expression: Never bring a knife to a gun fight. In any fighting situation, distance is always key, as in maintaining your distance, which is why the Marines and the Rangers stress being a rifleman first and foremost.
Besides, if you’re so set on the cracking heads with the crowbar situation, wouldn’t you be better served going to your local Boomer’s and playing Whack-A-Mole for a couple of hours each day?
