….seems like your responses vary.
My response vary depending on context. It’s often times hard to convey a thought when brevity is necessary.
Did the bailouts stabilize the markets and prop up prices. Yes.
Did the bailouts prevent a depression. We don’t know.
What we do know:
– The financial excesses occurred earlier in the decade under a previous administration.
– The bailouts were formulated and implemented by Paulson and Bernanke. What we now have is continuation. Will the bailouts lead to future financial shock? I’m betting yes. But I don’t know when it will happen.

What matters is reversing it and we are in no way going in that direction.
Couldn’t agree more, they all really do suck. The sad thing is I didn’t used to feel this way, but just watching them in action and listening to what they say just makes me ill. Things definitely need to change, unfortunately, they’re the ones with all the power to keep it from happening. Haven’t given up hope completely, but I am genuinely concerned.

Everything in life is relative. Some suck much more than others.
It that’s it’s important to assign proportional blame so that there can be proportional accountability.
It’s too easy to say that everyone is to blame so let’s start fresh. Something children would say.
