I am looking for something similar to google finance stock screener where I could quickly sort thru and filter based on market cap, dividend, gross margins etc.

I use Ameritrade to screen, which allows you to filter based on those criteria and much more. They also have a trade architect system and access to Level 2 quotes. Which allows you to watch minute-to-minute trade volume and add indicators as you see fit. You can also add technical charts like a candlestick chart on the bottom and adjust timelines. Personally I would go that route if I were you.
