Still looking in Temecula, but…

I am the authority on Temecula. I know more about Temecula than TG ever will…

Anyhow, the prices in Temecula are down – in fact I want to buy in the near future. I am refinancing my house right now – getting it ready to rent.

You may recall in a recent message of mine that I found a REO in Crowne Hill for 300k (~2300 sq. ft.). Not a bad deal, could probably get it around 280k.

I looked in to Wolf Creek/Sycamore (Woodside Homes) this past weekend – not one other person was there.

The houses are pretty nice, they have one @ ~3300 sq. ft. at about 395k. I told my wife why not offer them 330k hitting the $100/sq. ft. mark.

There can be “good” deals, it largely depends on your personal circumstances.

Also, there are jobs in Temecula (although I don’t want to overstate this point):

Abbott
Pechanga
Numerous industrial parks on the west side
The new hospital coming in

Not easy depending on your field, but it can be done…

Happyhunting…I’ve worked with MANY realtors and finally found one that we’re happy with in Temecula. If you’re interested I can give you her info. She’s very hard working and won’t steer you in a different direction…I’d have to agree that it sounds as if your realtor is trying to get the most for themselves…the more they can sell you the more their commission…always remember that you are your only advocate in this buying process!

Buyer’s agent, whatever that means! How can someone be a buyer’s agent when there’s an anherent conflict of interest built into how they are paid….I really hope that the self listing brokerages really take off and change how real estate is exchanged someday!
