Hi, TG. I just knew you’d come to the rescue. π I’m very impressed with your knowledge of the Temecula valley area and housing market. How did you get so in-the-know? I was looking on ziprealty (as usual) and there’s a nice 3 bed condo that was bought in dec. ’05 for for $365K. It’s 3 bed, 3 bath, 1532 sft.
It’s now going for $220K on a short sale. Do you think it’s a good deal? I’m not buying it now, but it’s an indication of where we’re headed.

Ok, maybe not more than TG (=:
Anyhow, the prices in Temecula are down – in fact I want to buy in the near future. I am refinancing my house right now – getting it ready to rent.
You may recall in a recent message of mine that I found a REO in Crowne Hill for 300k (~2300 sq. ft.). Not a bad deal, could probably get it around 280k.
I looked in to Wolf Creek/Sycamore (Woodside Homes) this past weekend – not one other person was there.
The houses are pretty nice, they have one @ ~3300 sq. ft. at about 395k. I told my wife why not offer them 330k hitting the $100/sq. ft. mark.
