That Laurel Glen house actually is quite appealing – something we’d consider if we were in the market. But it does appear way overpriced, not that i know that area well.
As for our interior decorator, we couldn’t get her to beta test the installation which is quite unfortunate. That would have been quite the sight. π

January 20, 2008 at 10:12 AM #139125AnonymousGuestTG, as someone who works in SD should I even bother w/Temecula? Does anyone here make that commute? Of course from the models we saw my wife was sold on the kitchens but all I could think to myself was “nightmare commute”. Once I got onto the 5 from the 79 it took about 25 min to get to the 78 on a Saturday with traffic at full speed (I work near Mira Mesa). I imagine the weekday grind is quite a different story.

January 20, 2008 at 10:30 AM #139139paramountParticipantWe have covered the commute issue in the past, but I’ll provide my perspective as someone who has been commuting from Temecula to RB for (5) years.
It’s not awful, but the 56 would be my absolute southern limit.
It takes me anywhere from 35-45 minutes each way, I commute from Temecula Parkway (79 South) to Bernardo Center.
It helps to carpool which is what I do, so I only end up driving about once per week – saves me loads of $$.
I also think the commute will continue to improve with the work that’s being done from the 78 on down.
