Participant
I blame the wall st bankers for the chargers not making the playoffs.
SDR: I hate to even ask this, but I feel compelled to. So, when the Chefs play the Raiders for that final game, are you going to be rooting for the Raiders? I have to imagine you will be, since that game could put the Bolts into the playoffs, if the Raiders win (and there is a good chance they will).
Boy, that is a dilemma, isn’t it?
I have a nice “Do You Bleed Silver & Black?” t-shirt you could borrow. You know, to really get in the spirit.

ParticipantThe burning question before the city council is –
Do we declare bankrupcy before building a stadium for the Chargers, or do we declare bankrupcy after building a stadium ?
————————————————-
On other note, Vista is turning off its street lights unless residents pay $4 to $20 “lighting fee”! Coming soon to San Diego?

ParticipantOh man… so many tough questions…
Allan rooting for the aiders for me is about as painful as agreeing with Brian… In the above post Brian is absolutely correct and a week from this coming Sunday I will be the biggest raider fan around. I really want the conundrum of the chiefs losing this week and the raiders winning this week so all 3 teams have a shot at the division title next week.
I fear the chiefs winning this week and then Al Davis going, who do I hate more, the Spanos family or the Hunt family. I fear it is the former and Al will tell coach Tom to call off the dogs and roll over.
In all honesty the chargers don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. The special teams still suck and the gm is an old leather shoe who doesnt want to pay the best receiver in the game.
***********
Great post about the stadium… Declaring bankruptcy is a formality though right? I mean the city has been bankrupt for years and years. I would say get the stadium done first then do the declaration.
I would rather be broke and have a football team then be broke and not have a football team.
