Participant
You mentioned that the plan 6 homes facing the green are already under contract. Did you mean the homes 182-184 on the site map (Glen Brae Trail)?
Also, the current model homes had a sign mentioning the expansion in the later phases even about 4 months ago. I don’t think the seller tried to hide this fact.
Yes, 182, 184, and I believe 157 were all listed as under contract (182 was the one we saw go to contract Sunday). We were just a bit late, since in the new phase I think 182 and 184 were the best positioned units.
I know the plan 5 had several large signs mentioning the expansion, but I didn’t see any similar signs in the plan 6 model (which we walked through several times).

Thank you for the info. I think you made a good choice buying the townhouse. The location and floor plan are great. The only concern we have are the schools in Santee which don’t have a good reputation. Other than that it’s a good value.

GuestPKMAN,
How are you liking your new home?
My wife and I just signed papers on the very last model Canopy 6 home. Yes, the old constructions, but it seemed like an ideal floor plan / size / price / location for us to start a new family since we just found out my wife is pregnant.
There was absolutely no deal making with Brook! Take it or leave it was the attitude. Kind of sucks, but we will see.
We will be closing escrow in 30 days or less since the home has been completed since October.
Only here did I find out the truth about the expansion of the upstairs MB to include a separate tub. This was the only thing my wife felt was missing from the home.
Let me know what you think of your new place, especially since we are in the window of cancellation without loosing our ernest money.
