I cannot really even come close to describing this,
But I traveled quite extensively though what used to be very remote area’s in south west and south east China, They are building freeways everywhere I saw more BMW’s and MB’s being delivered by truck than I have ever seen in the U.S.A.,

The building and road construction was everywhere (were talking thousands of miles here on a road trip).

Even in the established cities the Stimulus spending was just incredible.

FOMC meeting tomorrow. I know equities are down, but there’s a lot of mixed signals here. Bonds aren’t up much. Gold down a bunch. This isn’t a panic. Yet. Tons more earnings tonight and tomorrow AM. Chart watchers salivating over the looming death cross. VIX way up. Could be an interesting 24-48 hours. I’d be surprised if Bernanke does anything.

To sum it up I think what I am saying is that right now a large part of the slack in the world economy is being picked up by china Via massive stimulus spending,
Everyone is looking/counting on the U.S.A. to get back in the game.
Time will tell.

How about deliberately slowing down the US economy for a year or so to crash China, and leave them holding the bag? Such things have certainly been theorized about the 2008 crash.
