Speaking of development in 92130…

When I commute along El Camino Real, I notice several(?) houses(?) under construction perched up on a mesa above the road. This is south of San Dieguito, north of Del Mar Heights, and on the east side of El Camino. It is closer to San Dieguito than to Del Mar Heights. If I look on Google maps, I think it is probably near the property labeled “Ridgemar Equestrian Center” or “Bits Equestrian Outlet”, maybe off of Old El Camino. It is difficult to tell exactly where it is since it is up above where I am driving.

Is this a new mini-neighborhood? How many units? Who is the developer?

Well, it’s a nice spot. They should have great views of the entire San Dieguito lagoon, but hopefully they’re high enough above El Camino Real and 5 to not have much noise.

Alta Del Mar is nice and is partly semi-track and custom. There’s part of the community were it does have views to the power lines, but nothing major.
