Scarlett, I think I may have mentioned this before on another thread, but I dog-sat for ten days many years ago in A VERY LARGE unit on Mahaila Ave (92122). I do not know the same of the complex but the landscaping was beautiful, the pool area was very well maintained at the time and the unit was between 1750-1900 sf, I think, and the inside was absolutely superior to your Southpointe unit in every way, shape and form. I do NOT know what the current dues in this complex would be now but the unit felt like a house and was VERY livable for a family if you wanted to stay in that area.

But if the kids automatically enroll in La Jolla elementary and middle school (and it is zipcode 92037), the only choice that could disappear would be the UC high one which doesn’t make much sense. (Why would a kid go from Muirlands LJ middle to UC high???)
If you read the “Optional Enrollment” section of your sandi-net link, you cannot enroll in the option until it is time to attend.
In SDUSD, a “zip code” has nothing to do with the price of tea in China.

I know but my point there is no choice where to go to elementary or middle schools. The middle school feeds into LJ High. UC high is an option if one really wants it. LJ High is the default.September 13, 2010 at 5:40 PM #604452ScarlettParticipant

About schools that’s a good point.
