[quote=outtamojo]Hey Allan, why everyone raggin’ on Jamarcus? Sure he could lose some weight, watch some more film, be more consistent- but when the last 2 games were on the line he made the plays- he just needs to build on that. It can’t be easy w/ 2 rookie receivers, one of whom needs at least 2 more years of college ball(DHB).If Raider fans want to rag on someone, why not Stanford Routt? Or Mcfadden for going down at the slightest touch of his legs? Here’s something else to stew over :”Raiders fans now have the right to be riled up” http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/09/21/raiders-fans-now-have-the-right-to-be-riled-up/%5B/quote%5D
Outtamojo: My beef with JaMoke is that the Raiders are running what amounts to a high school offense because Russell couldn’t master the “intricacies” of the previous O and he is having problems with the new, simple one, too.
Kid has a cannon for an arm, but his head is made of wood. Look at his stats for the KC game: 7 of 24 for 109 yards. Jesus wept.
I came up in the wild and wooly days of the 1970s when the Raiders were the RAIDERS (think Davidson, Stabler, Tatum, King, Hendricks, Branch et al). Hell, I can remember Stabler smoking on the sidelines between series and then going out and throwing for 350 yards.
We’re a joke now and the worst part is that we have talent, but no heart.

September 22, 2009 at 10:33 AM #460089AnonymousGuestTG you said what I was thinking, Norv is a clumsy drunk who was given a great team and then continues to slobber his way into the play-offs. Marty (I know everyone hates when I bring up Marty) he would have the team pumped and ready to go, day one. Bad luck ruined Marty (and AJ didn’t help) I am sure that Marty and AJ had differences and one was that Marty wanted to draft some good O-line guys so he could run and AJ wanted to keep looking for the needle in a hay field. Norv has prospered from what Marty built and like a hangover we the fans are now seeing what Norv has built.
On another note I too like Singletary in SF and think they look good right now. Maybe I just miss or desire the disiplinary type coach but he has his guys rolling. See what a good tough coach does for a team.
