Thats was no goal line stand. Andy Reid once again mystifies me. First and goal from the 1 and not one play went to Westbrook, McCoy, McNabb (sneak)Jackson, Maclin or Avant the best players you have on Offense. The Chargers defense is a sieve and McNabb had his way with them. If not for an abundance of penalties and Reid ineptitudfe on play calling/clock management it could have been a blow out. The Eagles have no running game and Westbrook is out now. If they dont pick up Penn State alum Larry Johnson this week I’ll be shocked.
As for the Philly D, the secondary is decimated as are the linebackers. Its no surprise Gates and LT had their way with them.
With all that said, it was a great game and came down to the last play. I enjoyed immensely but a W would have been nice. Chargers got a long way to go if they are going to compete at the upper levels this year.
Well it was a great weekend. The “Super Bowl” weekend I should have had in 2003 if not for a choke job against TB. Had the old friends in for the weekend and pulled a stunning upset on The Crossings golf course that will reward me with years of bragging rights over them.
