The more I think about this the funnier it gets. BG claims the Piggs expect too much. She obviously doesnt realize that a New Yorker is a Pigg on steriods times 100! The OP was complaining about 1970’s homes that fit general size/configurations as unsuitable because they require remodelling and proceeded to toss out major fixers from the 1950’s that need substantial recofigurations and expansions as an option. Someone isnt paying attention here.
New Yorkers get better food from street corner vendors than we get at our finest restaurants in SD. The average New Yorker arrives in SD and does not stay because it is too much of a hick town for them.

Totally agree about NewYorkers, sdr! I lived on the Upper East side for my grad studies and I miss to this day all the different ethnic foods one can find on almost every block.
