For the record, I had my own chickens here in Fallbrook, but they got munched by coyotes and I never replaced them. It was fun harvesting eggs (we had a rooster and five hens and all the hens were producing) and watching them motor around the yard rooting for bugs.

I was thinking it is about time for a city chicken update and I can even provide a link with pictures. TG also has a lot of nun stories I think they taught him to play cards or something, so he is no stranger to religion either. Paramount, you are right about going back to our foundations. I would also like to say, I hope your job situation works out for you. It is definitely a time of belt tightening for many of us. I would raise chickens, but the HOA would not allow and the DH always threatens to eat the pets anyway, so I think chickens would be endangered species here. I think if there are past lives, I was a farmer.
