I think they closed…
Saw them packing their trucks, “For Sale” sign and its post all gone.
If you get a spare minute would you share the official sold price? I know I can look this up in about a month on my own, but I’m impatient and you have the inside scoop :>)
Thanks,

Yep they closed at 760,500 as a short sale. Unfortunately that is well above the 606k that they paid for the home back in 2003.
Also more news that has irritated me as a potential buyer…The Riesling home that was at 695k-750k has been pending for awhile now. (That is the Cookie Lee lady) and the home in my cul de sac also went pending awhile back at 720k-770k. The activity that we have seen this spring was something that I 100% did expect and even predicted. Yet I am pretty sure that by the beginning of summer the depreciation will continue.

If the sellers of 11704 sold at 760.5 as a short sale doesn’t that mean that they owed more than that to the bank?
Let’s say they owed 775K. They’d have to come to closing with 14,500 right? What about commissions and closing costs? Would they also have to show up with 45K (about 6%)in commissions and a few extra grand for escrow, title ins., etc.? OUCH!Like you’ve all said over and over, it will be a slow, sticky ride down, but it is going down.
Hang in there SD R, your castle is coming :>)
