We’re moving from our current rental into another.
Our new rental has a fridge so we need to sell our current fridge.
Anyone here have any experience selling things on craigslist? I’d try the UT but I seriously don’t think anyone reads that thing anymore.
Am a little uncomfortable about having people show up to view fridge, but guess I could do it like a garage sale and just have all interested parties come on one day at the same time while husband is home.
Suggestions? Comments?

BTW, if anyone wants a rental home in Scripps Ranch I can put you in touch w/ the landlady/prop. manager before it comes on the market – we gave 30 days notice today so it’s available 9/1…
I’ve had good experience with Craigslist. We moving out of our rental and don’t quite have enough junk for a garage sale, so we’ve been selling individual items on Craigslist. Bookcase, doghouse, table, even some books and DVDs.

Selling on Craigslist is about the easiest way to sell something. Take some good photos of your fridge (inside and out), give it a good description, list it at a reasonable price, and wait for the phone calls. Post your email and phone number in a manner similar to what you’ve done on this post so the spiders and bots don’t pick it up. One thing you must be aware of are Craigslist Flakers. These are people who will call or email you and ask you to hold the item as they will be there to look at/pick up the item on a given day and time…but they never show up. If someone calls and asks for you to hold the item for them, don’t do it. Kindly tell them that you are selling the item on a first come, first serve basis. Good luck to you.

Coming from the buyer’s side, when we moved to our new rental that did not have a fridge, washer or dryer we used Craig’s List to buy. It worked out well from our side. My wife often gets rid of things by offereing them for free over Craig’s List, as well.
