Sliding Glass Door Roller Replacement

I have a forty year old 48″Wx80″L sliding glass door that’s difficult to slide back and forth and “catches” in a certain spot halfway across the track. The top of the track is bent slightly in the middle due to 40 yeas of settling. I’ve received estimates for roller replacement and I’m shocked that it costs $250-$300 for a 1.5hr job. Why so expensive? Does this type of work require special training and skill beyond buying and knowing how to use a proper suction cup? Could a “handyman” do this kind of work?

Can’t you unbolt the track and shim/level it to be straight? Paying some contractor $300 to do this seems like a huge waste, especially since you’ll have to wait around for him to show up.
