I’ve seen this thread for a couple of years, but for the first time I actually looked on a map to see where these were. I am very surprised to learn that they are EAST of 67. My friend grew up just a few blocks away and that area is considered Lakeside.

Yeah yeah I admit. I was wrong about Santee. It’s actually pretty nice up on the hills. I got a friend that has a ridiculous gated private house sitting on an acre with an awesome view. Plus only 15 minutes to La Jolla, lol.

It really is 15 minutes to La Jolla at over 85 mph zooming down the 52.

Someboy was even complaining about going downhill and wearing out his breaks…

I have a cop friend that lives there’s and the few times we get together, it’s a nice fun drive there from where I live.

The view from up there is worth a lot and Santee has become a nice town with newer malls.
