I just read an article that someone offered $10M for one of the shoes. those things are worth more than Bond’s record Setting baseballs. Shall we call this a sign of the times?

December 17, 2008 at 6:29 PM #317186urbanrealtorParticipantWhile I prefer threadjacks that involve fun facts about sharks or hot bare legs, I am okay with this.
On a more serious note, I am curious if this kind of behavior will be mimicked in other countries or here in the US (the shoe-throwing, not the threadjacking).
James thank you for the images.
They were just what I needed after walking around with my 4 month old strapped to my chest in the hot mexican sun. The beer helped also.

December 17, 2008 at 8:24 PM #317228PCinSDGuestI should have checked this thread out earlier to voice my opinion on the best musical:
Paint Your Wagon. Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin were awesome. Here’s a little sample of Clint in “Gold Fever”:

My other favorite is Les Miserables. I remember listening to a narrated version on the radio every Sunday back in the day. (Didn’t grow up with a television).
