Thanx Allan. I guess I’m just not a shoe guy. I buy one pair of shoes and wear them every day until there are holes in the bottom of my soles. Once the rain starts soaking my socks I get the message that its time for a new pair. Then and only do I get one.

sdr: On a serious note: Have you thought of resoling your shoes? I have a pair of Allen Edmonds that I’ve reshod 2x now.

Granted, you’re paying more for them, but they can go 2 – 3x as long with proper care.

I don’t have many vices (single malt scotch, books and cigars), but shoes are definitely one of them.

And don’t take Breeze seriously. He’s a troll and a propagandist. I agree that your body of work speaks for itself and you’ve always struck me as an honest professional who speaks his mind. Screw that lefty clown.
