Well thanks and to yours as well.
Also, and on the music front: Did you ever catch any shows at Keystone Palo Alto or Toso Pavilion (Univ. of Sta. Clara)? Just curious.

No. The only shows I have seen on the peninsula are Steely Dan and someone else (green day maybe?) at the shoreline.
My mom had a great term for those members batting for the other team: She called them “musical”. Not trying to imply anything here…
While I like musicals (Moulin Rouge being my favorite) I don’t bat for anyone’s team. Talking as I am prone has gotten me called a homophobe and a conservative (among other things) many times. I wish people had fewer teams. But that is for a different thread…December 16, 2008 at 9:40 PM #316887urbanrealtorParticipant
Dan: On a more serious note, I wanted to wish you and yours a safe and Merry Christmas holiday.

The one with Jose Ferrer, or the one with Nicole Kidman?
Speaking of musicals, you can’t go wrong with “The Music Man”. That was a musical! Not that I’m now gay or anything…
Never got a chance to see anything at Shoreline, it came after my time. Figured you would’ve been haunting the Keystone, given it’s rep and the bands that frequented it.
You ever catch a flick at The Bijou in Palo Alto? It’s downtown and used to show some really great arthouse flicks (similar to The Ken in SD). Great place to catch Kurosawa films. That whole section of Paly is now all yuppified, but it used to be cool back in the day.
