Their K-8 school is right in the center of the development and its scores are about as good as those of, say, Pomerado Elementary or Black Mountain Middle schools in the “world-famous” Poway School District.
High school is a bit of a problem – SEH is assigned to San Marcos High, which isn’t that great (although, it gets far worse).

Gimme a break. There are currently 3 entrances/exits out of SEH. Just because there are mountains on either side, doesn’t mean it’s a “trap” of any kind.
Honestly I hope people don’t buy in SEH…maybe that will drive down the cost so we can actually afford one of these over-priced homes. But for now, I’m content to rent in SEH and Mtn. Bike the mountains surrounding it…but don’t worry, I always carry my fire extinguisher with me on rides… just in case I get trapped by those sneaky infernos.
