You will just have to take my word for it but the Chinese, Those with the spare change are definitely are looking to buy in coastal Socal (inland not so much)
[/quote]I think that the Chinese will stay in China as their economy provides them better opportunities.
I know Chinese people who are returning to China in search of opportunities.

June 30, 2009 at 2:25 PM #422548sdduuuudeParticipantMany people may be willing to pay a 20% premium to not be a renter. I think that is what is really happening right now.

While I have seen a little of that (Chinese who cashed out looking to buy investment properties and homes in China), If you think it’s hard for us in the USA to get a good Job, you should try looking for one in china, there are a lot more college grads in china than jobs for them.
There is a lot more Chinese in china looking to buy properties in socal that the other way around.
Even the Chinese gov is looking for U.S.A. properties to invest in rather than treasuries (this last one is just a joke sort of).
