Property in Vietnam? Personally, I think you already missed the boat there. I Personally think it’s supper bubbly there, even worse than here. The biggest difference is the government as well. I personally don’t trust them.June 30, 2009 at 10:06 AM #422632anParticipant
In 10 years you’ll see clothes with “Made in Cuba” labels.Back the 1950s Cuba was the playground of Americans. Just a short flight away, it can become that again and more.
Apparently, there’s plenty of oil off the coast of Cuba.

AN, a badly maintained property will sell for less than a well maintained one. So the homeowner or his heir will lose right there.
Since you bought in Mira Mesa, did you add up all the expenses and time of restoring your house?

June 30, 2009 at 10:19 AM #422418(former)FormerSanDieganParticipant
1. what about the fact that 25% of our workforce (Baby Boomers) are going to try to retire over the next ten years?
many of them will try to downsize by selling their houses
Why is it that all demographic arguments focus on the baby boomers. What about the children of the boomers, who actually outnumber the boomer generation ?
The first part of this wave is in their early 30’s. While the size of the echo boomer generation is not large enough to solve the Social Security problems (which relies on a large number of workers per retiree) they are larger than the boomers and will impact many other parts of the economy and society.
