December 4, 2007 at 7:59 PM #108949NotCrankyParticipantI think that one deserves its own thread drunkle. What do you think or the transaction? It looks like a mini-bail out or some kind of funny money teamwork. I am weak on big business, companies and stocks so I can’t say anything remotely useful on this thread. Could they be moving assets on the cheap to prepare for reorganization of some sort? Some big lenders must have had to approve of the deal even without the BK.
In any case since we have been on the topic of the effects of bail outs. I wonder if there won’t be some private ones, like this could be?
It looks like builders stocks bounced a little on this action?December 4, 2007 at 7:59 PM #109054NotCrankyParticipantI think that one deserves its own thread drunkle.
