March 4, 2010 at 4:01 PM #520931scaredyclassicParticipanti think this place would rent for between $1,750 – $2,200 per month. But I might be wrong. I do not want to be a landlord. I want to grow persimmons and raise chickens.

March 4, 2010 at 5:54 PM #520971AnonymousGuestEveryone else is trying to console you in your compromise.
I suggest you NOT buy the house. You have NO compelling reason to move., So don’t.
Take off six months. Don’t look at a house in person or on the internet.
In six months revisit the concept. It’s not like there’s gonna be a shortage of available homes then. Nor will prices be higher.
There is a perfect house for you. Wait for it. If you resign yourself to compromise, you’ll never get what you want.
