    My grandfather was a hobby farmer and I’m told he did well with persimmon trees. By no means do I suggest that you use the same “miracle Asian fertilizer” under normal conditions, but if the economy really does collapse, you can use the same age-old technique to help achieve self-sufficiency in food.

    You had me at bitching- I’m sold. A home with a great view is always tough to find and, imo, this great view is what will really warm up da wife to the house.

    From a financial perspective this seems almost like a no-brainer, but just in case …
    What would it rent for if you decided you didn;t like it after buying ?

    From a psychological perspective there is no hope for you, anyway 🙂
