Caught on tape. Talk about being owned.
I saw it earlier this morning. The wife started it and the husband came along and took it to a whole other level. He looks like the kind of guy who commonly gets agressive with people to get what he wants. Guess he’ll have to find some other way to express himself now.
September 6, 2006 at 7:10 PM #34565lendingbubblecontinuesParticipantThat boy’s got a “purty” mouth….I’m sure any inmates who were watching that newscast this morning are eagerly awaiting the first time that guy drops the soap!!
What a dumbass!!
September 6, 2006 at 10:09 PM #34573CardiffBaseballParticipantWhat a sissy punch too. All aggressive/nutso with people he knows won’t fight back. He didn’t even have any kind of bend in his arm to strike the guy he just stiffened the arm and threw a girlie punch around the front his face since the guy’s back was to him. Then he gouged in the guys face while wrestling around drawing some blood.
I’d love to taunt this guy into a brawl. What got me was the psycho broad screaming about Ensenada.
On another thought I know the investigative reporter has to maintain some level of professionalism, but I’d never willing get owned like that because “I am a reporter”. If someone is going to do that to me unless it’s some MMA expert or a Chuck Liddell type, I am going to try and inflict some punishment, and defend myself.
I am not even a mean or tough guy, but I’d love to smash that guy, and I think I’d even suspend the rule about hitting women with that motormouth wife of his. Or I’d sick my wife on her. People like that just bring out the worst in me.
September 6, 2006 at 10:33 PM #34576SD RealtorParticipantGuys I wrote about this last month!!!
The pot is Sam Suleiman LA JOLLA REALTOR!!!! This guy was/is a total scam artist. He went and forged documentation and purchased properties in his clients names. He would then not pay the mortgages and collect rent from the tenants that occupied the properties.
When I posted this some people thought this was some sort of joke by the news. It was reported by Fox 6 last month. The FOX 6 reporter followed up on this for the past two months. KUDOS to the reporter for following up on it.
This guys Suleiman has threatened MANY people.
Oh yeah while this guy was beating on the reporter his WIFE was sitting there talking into the camera telling everyone how this reporter was getting what he deserved.
NICE
September 6, 2006 at 10:47 PM #34579powaysellerParticipantThis lady has an anger management problem.
September 7, 2006 at 8:32 AM #34591speedingpulletParticipantLet’s just say that it was fortunate that she didn’t manage to find the gun she ran into the house looking for.
I have a feeling she was angry enough, at that point, to have actually shot the reporter, had she found it. And the outcome would have been a lot more serious than some drenched camera equipment and bruises.Thank god for small mercies…
September 7, 2006 at 8:32 AM #34592BugsParticipantThe wife mentioned on camera that she was going to go get a gun. Under the circumstances that’s not a threat to be taken lightly. Before this all went down, the guy being interviewed was talking about being threatened and abused.
The reporter did the right thing by not fighting back. He had the presence of mind to know the camera was still running and that any amount of agression or hostility, verbal or otherwise, would have been spun into making it look like mutual combat rather than outright assault.
Because he held back the attorneys for the agent and his wife are now faced with a much more difficult defense. The prosecution can probably run down a number of people who have also been threatened.
September 7, 2006 at 8:46 AM #34594AnonymousGuestSo what was up with the mentally unhinged wife ranting about Tijuana and Ensenada? Was she threatening to send someone there or was she making a racial slur?
Has anyone checked on the Suleiman’s immigration status?
September 7, 2006 at 9:03 AM #34596no_such_realityParticipantI caught that too, and my impression was it was a lightly vieled reference to burying him there out of the country or at a minimum, seriously injure.
I wasn’t sure if asking which he liked better if she said ‘I’m going to f*ck you there on the otherside of the country’ or if she said ‘I’m going put you there on the otherside of the country’
September 7, 2006 at 10:20 AM #34607bubParticipantRe. the Tijuana and Ensenada remark. My understanding is this is a gang reference to taking someone across the border and “planting” them in Tijuana or Ensenada.
The fact that these two pieces of human garbage were still on the street (and still are they both made bail) just shows how pathetic law enforcment is when it come to matters of white collar crime.
September 7, 2006 at 12:16 PM #34622AnonymousGuestWell, I’m sure that Duke Cunningham will welcome Mr. Suleiman into his federal prison cell with open arms. As for his wife, I sure hope she has lots of water bottles to defend herself with in prison.
September 8, 2006 at 1:41 AM #34665FarlsParticipantCNN World News shown in Europe and Asia just showed a big segment on this complete with parts of the video…..mentioning Sam by name & everything….Good exposure for Sam…what a guy…..(joking)
SD Realtor…I saw your post (and video)about the initial investigation weeks ago as you mentioned. I would have thought there was more discussion about his fraudulent activities. I’m sure there’s quite a paper trail…including commission checks to him for all the deals being questioned… I’m shocked he was able to get all the documents done without a real buyer being present. Maybe his wife was the notary who processed everything?? How has he still been able to operate his business with all this evidence against him?
My guess is that Sam & wife will be long gone to Mexico soon since they posted bail and were released…

September 8, 2006 at 11:32 AM #34685OwnerOfCaliforniaParticipantSD Realtor, where is the original post? I’d like to watch the original report on this guy. Thanks in advance.
September 8, 2006 at 1:28 PM #34709AnonymousGuesti ain’t no lawyerperson, but my understanding is that if sammy hadn’t gone ballistic he probably would’ve just been charged with fraud, etc and gone to some white collar country club prison. now that he’s almost certainly going to get convicted of assault and battery along with the fraud stuff he’s now going to go to federal pound-me-in-the-a** prison. i think he’s going to regret that ninny punch-wrestle bit caught on tape.
