ParticipantCheck out youtube for tent cities. Vegas has a big one. As usual, it is the low-end of the econ spectrum that get hammered the first and the hardest in a contraction. We need the shovel-jobs Obama has promised ASAP. It’s an embarrassment to our country with all its amazing resources and wealth to have this type of thing going on. Politicians need a wake-up call from us. A few quick recalls ought to get their weak-ass attention.

ParticipantThe lady from the St. Vincent de Paul in Lake Elsinore returned my call, but now I see that the girl’s original post has been flagged.
Does that mean that she wasn’t legit or is it just the policy of craigslist to delete posters looking for handouts?
If it’s the latter I’d still like to give the girl’s phone number to St. V so they can follow up if anyone still has it.
I sent the girl the St. V number too, so hopefully she’ll get some help from them if the situation is legitimate.December 22, 2008 at 1:50 PM #319343fredo4
