Waiting hawk: Jesus, if it’s true, that’s awful. As much as I was one of those standing on the sidelines shaking my head during this whole bubble nonsense, you can’t help but be moved by this (and frightened, too).
This is like something out of Dickens. And it’s going to get far, far worse before it gets any better.
What a terrible way to spend Christmas.
