I love these celebrity real estate sites such as Real Estalker and Mr. Big Time (who recently reported on Richard Dreyfuss buying in Encinitas and selling in So. Carlsbad). This particular site is called WhoBoughtWhat, and they arbitrarily list sales/purchases in different locales in NoCal and SoCal.
Anyway a retired Lacrosse player (Had no idea this was a sport on the pro-level) just bought a house in RSF for 785k, and the previous owner paid $985k in 2006. Something seems strange about that to me. Anything unusual about this, was it a short sale?
Thats funny. Several months ago I mentioned an Oscar winning actor who bought in So Carlsbad but declined to disclose his name. Now it is out for the public domain. BTW, he bought in Encinitas (Olivenahin) and is still trying to unload the So Carlsbad he overpaid for 2 years ago.
