The question was “electability – do you have any, sir?” and RP turns it into a question of whether he is “less Republican”. That wasn’t the question!

Participantwhat, you think he should have answered “no”, hung his head and shuffled off back stage? it was a stupid question and he answered quite well, at least as far as the republican base is concerned.
if i were ron, i would have started with “isn’t that what we’re here to find out? isn’t this what democracy is about? aren’t we here to let the people decide? but hey, i only pulled in 6 million in contributions on one day from the people, contributions averaging only $100! i’m not here trying to the buy the election with my own money like rmoney, i’m not here with corporate contributions like everyone else. i think there are many people out there that want to see me elected. ask them.” and then i would have continued the bitch slap with everything else he said.
