[quote=bubble_contagion]It was amazing. I took this picture from the balcony of my new rental apartment in UTC. I have unobstructed views of Mount Soledad and the Mormon church so I’ve seen many good sunsets since I moved in. The 1/1/10 sunset was special. I made the effort of setting the tripod and taking several pictures.

AWESOME! I was wondering what it must have looked like at Chart House or Beach House with a head full or margaritas. The place must have been tripping.

January 3, 2010 at 11:36 AM #499200scaredyclassicParticipanti had heard dramatic sunsets like this are due to particulate matter — smog — in the air . but that could be an urban myth so to speak. if so, it’s not really very beautiful, but scary.
