Considering this is one of the biggest government interventions in decades, I’m really hoping to hear our fearless leader’s take regarding the expected impact on the housing and mortgage markets, taxpayers, etc.
I understand that this was probably a necessary step, but it still irks me as a taxpayer to be on the hook for the liabilities of Fannie/Freddie who have made such terrible investment choices over the past 5 years. Somehow so many of us Piggs knew this thing was going to explode…how could they not see it coming?
