I’ve been out of the country for 4 yrs. I am a previous homeowner and left with excellent credit. When I comeback, I will start working for $35k/yr. I have $300k in cash that can be used towards a downpayment. Any idea what amount of financing i can get, if any and what house price is within reach?
Um, given your situation why not just bank the $300K somewhere safe (if you can find anything these days) and just wait this out? Otherwise you are just going to be losing interest and equity as your asset deflates.
In a year or so you could buy something nice with cash, if you wanted.
