Yes, that’s exactly the type of thing renter’s insurance covers. You can have a general policy or even add specific items. Just contact the insurance co. and they’ll tell you all about it. I had something similar with Allstate.
Did you already pop the question or is it a done deal? Congrats anyway.

I’ll look into Allstate – I just didn’t know if there were any companies that are better/worse/more reliable/cheaper than others. I have Wawanesa for car, but unfortunately they do Home and Car only.
