Participantthanks HLS, that’s a good summary. Hubby wants to use our saving for some major fixes on the house (roof, windows, etc.) and that depending on the amount in fees we wouldn’t have enough for 20% equity. We’ll keep investigating…thanks for your information.

Depends on property type, value, income etc.
30 YR Fixed rates are around 5% (or below)
5-7 YR ARMS start at 3.50%
