A few to add today…..
Government regulators who put their feet in their mouths, and reinforced the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac share declines this week. Regulators that were not regulating.
CEO of Indymac saying that “we are in a excellent position” a few months ago.
Any more to add?

The bailout of Fannie and Freddie has begun after the Treasury dept announcement today on a Sunday. A good number of banks are tettering now with potential runs on the banks in coming weeks/months. Indymac is certainly not the last.
I’m actually a bit po’d. So many folks are to blame, many who where too greedy, incompetent, or both.
We will all be paying for this for years.
