patience grasshopper. At this rate (pun intended)
You’ll see 2.75 at no cost..Just wait until the economy just slightly dipping on oct/nov…Stock market will go down a bit. Job numbers will get worse…Europe will flare up again….And then
Mr. Ben will decide to put QE3 into high gear….Then you’ll see rates plummet. Until then, just watch the show…
Morale of the story that I learned. In this environment do a no cost loan if you can…Chances are rates are going to go down further.
I figured out one advantage of a 15 year. Despite all the stupid refinancing, nothing like seeing a good portion to knocking down the principal. Dude…borrowed money is so damn cheap, and it keeps getting cheaper…

I would go further and say, do a negative points loan if you can. I’ve been doing this for the last 3-4 refi and the credit have been paying for my taxes and insurance for the last couple of years.September 25, 2012 at 1:53 AM #751828scaredyclassicParticipantat this rate there is gong to be no tax advantage to owning a home, because there is going to be no interest involved.

Well, shit. I hate how the government keeps bailing out folks that are considered “not-rich”…So if this happens.. I’ve decided a new way to get my money back from the government.
I’m going to have lots of kids…Nice hefty deduction per kid… If I have say 9 kids, and before that spend all my money, then I’ll get sufficient tax subsidies and maybe even be able to collect foodstamps and free medicine, which will probably be better than my current healthplan anyway.. Well shit, medi-cal coverage is greater than medicare in a lot of cases, so I wouldn’t be surprised…Even in carmel valley. Yeah, 9 kids… Maybe not enough. Make that 15….
And then I’ll start a cult with my 15 or so kids…That why, I can consider my cult a religion. And then if I’m a leader of it, it means that I’ll need a place of worship. Hence, my home will then become a temple, and then I’ll be exempt from paying property taxes.

in order for the cult to work, you may need multiple wives to rapidly increase your number…
…wait a minute… this script sounds mightily familiar…
September 25, 2012 at 8:45 AM #751842UCGalParticipantWonderful – a cult of high achieving, Asian kids who know self defense and can kick people’s butts. (Weren’t you training your daughter in martial arts?)
I’m never moving to Carmel Valley – I’m worried the highly trained FLU-cult kids could beat up AND out test score my kids.
The only hope is that I can send in a bunch of mutant rabbits (maybe zombie rabbits) to eat their yard. Nah – the FLU-cult kids would kick the zombie rabbit’s butts.

No wait… We’ll eat the rabbits. Then we won’t have to use the food stamps. We’ll go to some shaddy convenience store and offer to trade the food stamps we don’t need for hard cold cash…And then buy expensive designer purses, just to keep up with appearances…

totally not true… You can listen to rap, but don’t call it music. Eminem is just fine by me.

absolutemortgageco rates are pretty good today too.
September 27, 2012 at 7:59 AM #751951RenParticipantI almost stopped my refi (in progress) after seeing Absolute Mortgage’s rates. Then I read their reviews.
