4S Ranch seems to be on track to become a new China town.
Wow, really? FYI, Chinese are not the only Asian and we all don’t look alike.
With regards to the 3 areas you visited, 2 of them don’t have very good schools. That might be one of the reason. Also, most of the Asians you have the $ to afford these new homes are most likely engineers of some sort. Which means they either work in RB or SV. SEH and Eastlake are just way too far out there for them to commute, especially with the high gas prices.

May 27, 2008 at 10:46 AM #211998Alex_angelParticipantI’m not asian, but from my experience most Asian Families are quiet and respectfull to their neighbours. They won’t be blaring their tunes late at night in the backyard shouting obscenities and riding their harleys up and down the street.
I have three asian familes right next to where I live. One is a doctor, two are SW engineers and the others I don’t know that they do. They are quiet and they are clean.
Enough with your racist BS.

I live in 4s – I havent really noticed the current residents being primarily asian. I do see a lot of Asain families checking out resale though and as noted by others, most are highly educated and quiet neighbors.
We had an asian couple move in back in january next door. They have a newborn and a son under 10. They are great neighbors. We also have asian neighbors on the other side of us and they have two kids who are very nice and respectful. I am irish.
The biggest problem in our neighborhood are the idiots that drive the monster trucks. That and the people that dont pick after their dogs.
As far as Eastlake, its in CV so one should expect to have the majority being Latino. SEH – I suspect a high % of turnover there so whatever it is currently could change in the next year or two. Same goes for Eastlake and 4s.
If you want diversity, move to LA or SF.
