Just FYI – didn’t miss your dig at Temecula, good one :). +10 for you.
Continue on folks…[/quote]
eclipxe and others who denigrate Temecula: What sickens me most about phony snobs like you is that you should consider yourself lucky to live anywhere in the United States.
On top of that most of you pukes aren’t even from San Diego.

dude Paramount – not denigrating Temecula, I love our little valley man. Rt. 66 (or Scarlet I guess?) and I have had a great series of back and forths about Temecula over about 4 different threads. I originally started responding with facts and figures and “reports from the ground” (“PF Chang’s is PACKED!”) which Scarlet turned into a parody (“All hail PF Changs!”). The debate has degenerated to the point where all I can do is just give a hat tip to Scarlet for outrageous claims and misinformation. It’s no use arguing with facts.
We’re on the same team man.

Temecula *is* beautiful. I spent the weekend in Santa Monica and Palos Verdes (grew up in Torrance). It was so refreshing coming back to Temecula and breathing the fresh air, clear sky (no June gloom!) and streets that were clean and landscaped nicely.

May 18, 2009 at 12:45 PM #401323CricketOnTheHearthParticipantI think I might have started the latest Temecula thing with my price comparison (not necessarily accurate numbers) between a Temecula house and one in India.
No diss of Temecula intended at all. I just mentioned it because it is a locale that comes up a lot on this board π
Flu, sorry to hear of all the krap you’ve gotten for being Asian. I wouldn’t doubt it, after hearing about Microsoft’s little trick of anchoring a couple hundred Indian programmers on a boat 3 miles out to sea, to program out there so they wouldn’t have to officially bring them into the country.
The UAW has a 1000 acre golf course?????
I’m sorry, but while I am as in favor of the idea(l) of unions as the next person, that does it for me. The UAW has become as ossified and stiff-necked as GM (mis)management itself. Both need to be freshened up (rebuilt from scratch?)May 18, 2009 at 12:45 PM #401573CricketOnTheHearthParticipantI think I might have started the latest Temecula thing with my price comparison (not necessarily accurate numbers) between a Temecula house and one in India.
