Short commute

As for him cutting Geithner out of decisions, that’s the best news I’ve heard all day.

I think LBJ was famous for working a lot of hours in seculsion as well… But his cabinet would get calls at 3 AM too.
Plus you cant throw stones at Bama Man… GW spent more time on vacation than just about any President.
And before anyone labels me for defending Obama…
I voted for McCain…
Which for the record would have done just as poorly…
As SDDuuuude would say… I voted “Pale, male, and stale”.

Most definitely!
October 12, 2011 at 1:25 AM #730509ucodegenParticipantThe article states when the president’s workday ends.. but at what time does it start? If he is starting at 5am.. that is a long workday, on the other hand, if he is starting at 11am.. that is kind of short. It is a rather glaring thing to omit in the article.
October 12, 2011 at 6:44 AM #730512AnonymousGuestAre you suggesting the article may be biased?
Wow. That never occurred to me.

Ralph Nader wouldve put more desk hours in though.

Well desk hours are only a part of it. You have to consider what it is the person is doing and the stress levels. My old job I could work 14 hours days and it would have not bothered me. My new job I work ten or eleven and I am wrecked. I know if I was the president 10 hours a day would kill me. The stress level in that position must be unbelievable. The fate of the country on your shoulders is a tough cross to bear. Especially if you are someone who actually gives a shit. I think the presidency was easy for GWB… I don’t think he cared enough about the american people that it was difficult. I think Obama really does care… even if he is a lousy president…
