jp, never forget the saying, “A fool and his money are soon parted”. Make no mistake about it. The coast is coming down. There are lots of examples of people on the coast selling for less than they bought a couple years ago. Some significantly less. But there are still fools out there that didn’t get the memo that house prices are falling. (How they missed this is beyond me, but they have) There are fewer of them every day, but I still see case of people overpaying. But every day there are more “motivated” sellers hitting the market. And that means prices will continue to come down.

October 24, 2008 at 9:16 AM #292253jpinpbParticipantThanks everyone. I guess I was more panicked when I heard a TV show bought it. Do they know something I don’t. Will they market it and really sell it for 1.2 million? I’m just stunned right now and furstrated.

October 24, 2008 at 10:12 AM #292273ibjamesParticipantI remember a thread about that also. I think they showed on the show they sold the house, but after the show, they took everything back, the bushes, fixtures, etc. and the house was a shell of what it was.
I’ve also seen where they do that, and at the end of the show they couldn’t sell it.
