I’ve always wondered about this too. FWIW — we had a remodel done on our house, they did a great job and I was shocked at how fast they got it done. So speed doesn’t necessarily rule out quality.
What I always worry about more is: if they are just doing a flip, they probably cut every corner possible, cost-wise. I was always suspicious of quick flips just because the incentive seemed to make things look superficially good but to otherwise keep quality as low as possible.
That’s my semi-useless take; perhaps some more experienced buyers have better info.
I put quality of a flip on the same level as builder grade. Most of the cabinets I see in new homes, even multimillion $ Toll Brothers’ homes are crap. These flippers have crew ready to go, processes in place to crank out flips quickly because all the trades are lined up perfectly.
For me the issue with flips is not what they do but what they dont do. They do things that are highly visible and add sizzle. They rarely do second baths upstairs or infrastructure things like roofs, plumbing beyond fixtures, furnaces, electrical panels etc. Best place to assess that is look in the garage
That one looks like pretty nicely done from pictures and some good signs in garage
